Can You Give Felicity the Furever Home She Deserves? 🐾
Meet Felicity, a sweet & gentle soul born on 11/1/23. This beautiful, medium-sized pup, possibly a Border Collie mix, came to us with her 5 siblings when their previous owner could no longer care for them. While her whole litter is quite timid, we truly believe Felicity will blossom in a loving, patient, & quiet home!
Felicity may be the definition of shy, but don't let that fool you—she's incredibly sweet & longs for affection. She just needs time, gentle attention, & soft voices to feel safe. Once she warms up, her true personality will shine through! She loves being outdoors, running around, & given enough time & patience, she'll even snuggle up by your side. She also gets along well with other dogs!
Outside of the shelter, some of Felicity's fears melt, & she'll even take tasty bits of cheese right from your hand. Imagine the progress she'll make with consistent love & a calm environment!
If you have a quiet home & a big heart ready to give Felicity the time, love, & patience she needs to come out of her shell, please consider opening your home to her. She promises to fill your life with quiet companionship & endless love.

Our adoption process involves an application and contract.
All of our pets are dewormed, fully vaccinated (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza, Leptospirosis, Bordetela, & Rabies), microchipped, and spayed/neutered and started on age appropriate preventatives

More about this shelter

We are a no kill shelter. On any given day you will find over 100 dogs/cats in our care. We also offer spay/neuter services to lower income families & individuals of Southern Illinois. With a veterinarian on staff full time, we take in sick & injured animals when we can and provide the medical care they need before finding them good loving homes. We also help our rescue community by providing lower cost Spay/Neuter services to local animal control facilities as we are able.
