(DOB 05/11/2023) Gail — the ultimate mix of adventure, play, and pure love! Plus, a cuddle bug if there ever was one, Gail is a happy, affectionate girl who’s always ready for fun. She loves being outdoors — whether she’s trotting along on a walk, soaking up the sunshine, or hopping in the car (her favorite sign that adventure’s ahead!).
When it’s playtime, Gail’s all in. She’s a tug-of-war champion who never turns down a good rope game and can be persuaded to learn just about anything for a tasty treat — especially cheese! She’s delightfully food-motivated, sprinting straight to her crate and sitting patiently to wait for her meals (a routine she’s quite proud of).
Indoors, Gail’s a total sweetheart who loves to curl up next to you while you read or watch your favorite show. Just be warned — if a fly dares to enter your home, she’ll happily chase it down like a true professional. The vacuum, on the other hand, remains her sworn nemesis.
Gail adores kids, though her joyful zoomies are best matched with older children. She warms up to new people quickly (belly rubs seal the deal) and will win you over with her big smile and loving nature.
She enjoys playing with her dog friends and would do great in a home with or without another pup. With continued leash training and a good mix of physical and mental stimulation, this smart, eager girl will truly thrive.
Gail would love a home where she can run, play, and relax in the sun — a fenced yard would be a dream, but she’ll be just as happy getting her steps in with you. She’ll skip a home with cats (she finds them way too fascinating).
If you’re looking for a fun-loving, cheese-snacking, sunshine-chasing, cuddle-ready best friend — Gail is your girl!
As part of Gail’s $300 adoption fee, sheis spayed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. If you have questions about this sweet little girl, you can email Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org. If you wish to adopt Gail, you can fill in an online application for her under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website: www.pawsforlifenc.org.
