Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Griffon is a sweet, curious and athletic rabbit who came to Murci's Mission from our partners at SCRAPS. He has an estimated birthdate of 10/14/2023.

Griff is box trained and good in his play pen, but also reliable loose in the house with some supervision. He accepts being held and petted, and can easily tolerate grooming and nail trims. He is great with gentle cats and dogs, and could be a companion for another rabbit with an experienced rabbit owner who is familiar with the bonding process. Griff's foster mom thinks he's pretty dang enjoyable and easy to care for with his level of cleanliness and independent yet handleable personality.

Griffon comes neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $50 and includes his medical records, his toys and blankets, and his bale of timothy hay. To be considered to adopt, please begin by sending in an application at www.murcismission.org.

Adopters in the Spokane area can expect to meet the pet during the homecheck. Others will arrange a meet and greet.

Once your application has been received, we will evaluate it as a potential match for the given animal and, if your application is selected, we will proceed to call your references and then conclude with a home check and meet and greet scheduled by you at your home. For applicants out of area, the home check may be conducted via video call before the meet and greet.

More about this rescue

From the day we could talk we told our pets more than we ever told our parents. We took the long route to see the kitty in the window down the street. We stopped even when we were late to pet the dog. We grew up and we saw what the world does to those who can't defend themselves. We are here to change that.

Ethical rescue, including fully vetting every animal and carefully placing them all into homes matched to their physical and mental needs is what we do.

Respecting all life, both animal and human, while retaining an underlying goal of keeping animals in their homes. and fostering a sense of community between local shelters and rescues is how we do it.
