Meet Pina Colada AKA Bimini: Piña Colada, who also goes by Bimini, is a 3-year-old mixed-breed girl with a gentle heart and a thoughtful personality. She was rescued from the Bahamas in 2022 and, through no fault of her own, returned to our care in early 2025 after becoming a little protective of her owners. This does not mean Bimini is a bad dog. It simply means she cares deeply and needs people who can help her feel safe and guided. Bimini does best with confident adults or older kids who understand how to respect her space and listen to her signals. She can be a bit shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, her sweet side comes out. Bimini has a moderate energy level—she enjoys playtime but also loves to relax. She especially likes playing with toys and having fun in her own way. Bimini can be picky about her dog friends, so slow and proper introductions are important, along with clear structure to help her succeed. With the right support, she can build positive friendships. Bimini is looking for a calm, understanding home where she can feel secure, learn, and grow. With patience, kindness, and leadership, she will be a loyal and loving companion ready for her forever family.

If you are interested in adopting a dog from us please visit the ranch. Our website adoptions page has all of our availalbe dogs and our adoption application at www.bdrr.org/adopt. This will help us make sure we find you the right dog to fit your situation and family. You are welcomed to come to the ranch seven days a week or you can make an appointment with our adoption desk. Our adoption fees range depending on the dog's breed, age and other factors.
