Meet Dakota

In December of 2022, two tiny, frightened puppies were found huddled next to an adult dog who had been struck by a car. Despite the odds, all three survived dirty, malnourished, but all very loving.

The puppies quickly found forever homes, and the adult dog now named Dakota was adopted too. He bonded deeply with his dad, thriving in a home where he was loved and understood.

But life took an unexpected turn. Dakotas parents separated, and now his mom is unable to keep him. She loves him dearly but is moving and cannot take him along. In addition, she struggles to manage Dakotas strength on walks.

Now Dakota is searching for a new forever home.

Hes a sweet, loyal boy who would love a yard to run in, a calm and confident family to guide him, and a home where he isnt crated for long hours.

Dakota would thrive in a structured, loving environment.

Hes already proven hes resilient now he just needs someone to believe in him again.
