Meet our Golden Girls! Rooney, Maisie, and Simone are now inspired to find their next big adventure. They have been looking through newspaper ads, brochures on where to go next. Rooney & Maisie would love a place with windows and trees. Simone can't wait to share her stories with everyone! This is a big step for our Golden Girls and we would love to adopt these BFFs together!
Rooney, Maisie, and Simone are semi-feral. They might start out as house spirits in your home (which means they will be hiding a lot), but after a while they will each be more out in the open in your home watching the world go by and hopefully in time they may eventually settle in, be friendly with their humans, and join you for some snacks. Sweet ladies, all of them. It has been lovely to watch them open up to other cats and to humans. They are getting much braver and coming out to play with their visitors.
They need a quiet home. Not a home with lots of activity or lots of people coming in & out. They probably won’t do well in a home with young children.
Rooney (orange female) is playful and shyly adorable! She will take a treat from your hand, accept scritches around her neck and ears, as well as enjoys playing with the wand toy.
Maisie (tortie female) is peaceful, still very shy, but opening up. Although she would rather just be seen than be touched, she shows up for a churu treat.
Simone (gray female) enjoys being pet in the safety of her cubbie, but will run if you reach your hand down if she’s on the floor. She will get there eventually; she just needs a patient human.
The trio are each approximately 2-3 years old, fixed, combo tested negative for both FeLV & FIV, and up-to-date on all their shots. If you are interested in meeting them, contact Boston's Forgotten Felines on Facebook or at catadoptions@bostonsforgottenfelines.org
