Meet Kobe! He is a 9 year old, 13 lb Chihuahua mix.
Poor Kobe was brought to the shelter when his owner entered a nursing home due to dementia. He's a very nervous and scared boy when it comes to new situations, so as you can imagine, he was terrified in there.
Kobe is a whole new pup after being out of the shelter! He is a very loving, cuddly boy who loves to have his human's attention. Kobe is a mellow, well behaved pup. He is understandably shy at first, but once he stops being scared, he's your best friend!
He loves treats and food, and loves to snuggle. He is house trained, rides well in the car, and gets along with other dogs.
He is good with all adults - men & women (small kids may scare him).
Kobe is eager to please, and is overall a great, easy, well behaved pup!

There is an application process, and a tax deductible donation fee, which includes all up-to-date vaccinations and the dog's spay or neuter. We may opt to do a homecheck, but will discuss during the adoption finalization.
We also require a one week "trial period" with the dog to make sure that you and the dog get along well. After the one week period, we will either move forward with the adoption if the adopter so chooses, or the potential adopter can return the dog to Pacific Pups Rescue without penalty.
