Ganymede is a mysterious and majestic, young man who is seeking a home that will take things slow and give him lots of positive reinforcement. Our friends at Rocket Cat Rescue asked us for help placing him into a loving home. Despite being found with one 'full moon' eye, he has made a full recovery and has no ongoing needs aside from a steady stream of food based activities. He would be happiest with a confident and playful cat friend, can live with large/potato dogs, and people who use toys to help him feel safe.
Ganymede does a great impression of a cat-but sometimes misses the mark and comes off as an awkward body snatcher-maybe he’s a shapeshifter-who knows. Interview
Interview and in home meet and greet are typically done on the same day, it helps everyone get to know each other.

Sign Adoption Contract
If all goes well, you sign the contract, get a full medical and behavioral summary, and pay our adoption fee. You are given copies.

We have an open door policy and provide ongoing counseling during the adjustment period as well.

We work hard to educate the community about why spaying and neutering is important. We only take cats that are non adoptable in shelters which includes feral, abused, abandoned, and traumatized cats and kittens. We heal them inside and out using positive reinforcement and force free techniques. Last, we provide assistance to low income families to help them fix their pets, provide food to feral cat colony managers, and sponsor adoption fees for those who need a pet and can afford their care but not an additional fee.
