Introducing sweet Pawl, who along with his sister Reese Whiskerspoon (listed separately and seen with him in the 3rd pic) lost their home when their owner passed. Rescued together as kittens from a backyard in Brooklyn and have lived together ever since, they can be adopted separately as they love other cats and are also fine alone.

Mr. Newman likes to think he is a tough guy, but is really a sweet kitty who will melt into tummy rubs and turn on his purr motor when he's ready. Pawl is looking for an experienced cat person who likes an independent kitty with personality. He can’t wait to be someone’s grumpy little soulmate. He responds very well to treats, especially when he is in his favorite place — basking in the sun on the windowsill. He loves to explore the house and investigate things. He also enjoys his scratching pad and sometimes playing with a wand toy. He especially likes the bell it comes with!

Pawl is about 10 years old. He is healthy, neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and is ready for a wonderful furrever home with a chill adopter who will give him time to adjust.

Interested adopters first fill out an adoption application, after which they can visit our animals in their foster homes. If they would like to adopt and their application is approved, they then complete an adoption contract. We also ask for an adoption fee to help us continue our work.

We are a Brooklyn-based group of volunteers committed to improving the lives of animals in distress by working with our communities. We are dedicated to Trap-Neuter-Release programs, finding homes for adoptable animals, performing community outreach and education, and engaging in advocacy.
