Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Echo’s big, soulful eyes could melt anyone’s heart, and they often do. One moment he’s gazing up at you with pure love, and the next he’s showing off his goofy, happy-go-lucky cattle dog side with the silliest expressions.
At nearly 4 years old, this handsome boy couldn’t be any sweeter. Echo absolutely melts for chin scratches and rump rubs, and he loves cuddling in laps, even though he’s a solid 65 pounds (don’t tell him though, he’s convinced he’s a 20-pound lap dog).
With his gorgeous, multi-colored coat and gentle, affectionate nature, Echo truly shines inside and out. He’s wonderfully friendly with people, loves other dogs, and even shows potential to do well with cats. Echo is crate-trained, house-trained, and knows his basic commands like a champ.
Right now, he’s working on a little weight-loss plan, but he doesn’t let that slow him down one bit. He’s ready for walks, adventures, and plenty of snuggles in between.
If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and fun-loving cattle dog to join your family, look no further. Echo is perfect in every way, as long as you’re ready for a moderately active lifestyle and lots of love.

More about this shelter
We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!
Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
