My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my names is: Hunter
DOB: 1/18/2024
Sex/Breed: Neutered male lab/terrier mix
Weight: 40 lbs
Friends: Adults, older kids, dogs
Traits: Faithful, resilient, frisky, playful
Rescued From: Found stray

Hunter showed up as a stray with what appeared to be burns from a chemical or hot liquid on his head and legs. Now that he has had time to heal, he’s ready to start the next chapter of his life with a family of his own! Clearly this boy was mistreated in the past, but he hasn’t let that affect his ability to build lasting friendships with people and dogs. Hunter loves to romp around with his doggy pals! He is a fun-loving boy who is always up for an adventure. He has kind eyes that will melt your heart, with a sweet disposition to match. Hunter is looking for a home with older kids and a family willing to help him with his manners and training. He is a great student though, learning new things easily. With a dedicated family, he’ll be the bestest behaved boy in no time! He has the perfect amount of energy, an excessive amount of cute, and personality for days! Please help us find this sweetheart the forever home he so desperately deserves!

All our pets are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All 4 Paws is a foster-based rescue located in Malvern, PA. Since all of our dogs live in foster homes (instead of in a shelter environment), we are able to learn a tremendous amount about them and their needs. This helps us make great matches between our adopters and their new best friends! We do our best to keep the adoption process straight-forward and simple in an effort to get our available pets into permanent, stable and loving homes in a timely manner.

Our Adoption Process:

1. You submit an application.

You can submit an application by clicking the appropriate application button at the bottom of this page. If you have already been approved by or adopted from All 4 Paws, select the "Previously Approved" application for a shortened version. Be sure to include what you are looking for in your new pet as it helps us with the matchmaking process!

2. We contact your references.

We will contact your vet (if you have/had a pet), your landlord/property manager (if applicable), along with a few personal references right away. Please let all references know that we will be contacting them. This will help us to speed things along!

3. We send an email notifying you of the status of your application.

Please note: We get a lot of interest in our dogs and there is no guarantee that an approved application will secure your adoption of the dog you expressed interest in.

4. If approved, you work directly with our Adoptions Team to discuss our dogs and to set up an adoption appointment.

We’re happy to adopt to out-of-state families! Please note that, in accordance with our PA Kennel License, all adoptions must be completed in person at our Malvern, PA office. You can also meet a few of our dogs at once at our Meet & Greet Events. Events are a great opportunity to speak with our fosters and volunteers to discuss all of our dogs.

DOG ADOPTION FEES
Our adoption fee for dogs is $500+tax. This fee includes a wellness exam, all age-appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter surgery, heartworm testing (when age appropriate), worming, microchip and registration, flea/tick prevention, as well as any additional care recommended by our vet (i.e. dental cleanings, bloodwork, etc.).
