Lucky is the sweetest dog who hasn't had the easiest life but you'd never know it. He's happy and friendly and is a perfect example of a dog's resilience and how they find joy by living in the moment. He was abandoned and found by a kind person who brought him to a local Vet's office for care. The Vet took him in and contacted Long Road Home to help find him a new happy life. We rescued him, had him fully vetted (given all required vaccinations) and placed him in a great foster home. Lucky is approximately 6-7 year old and weighs 52 pounds (ideally he should be closer to 60 pounds). He's a very sweet, healthy and friendly guy who has low to medium energy so he'll be easy to live with. He gets along well with other mellow & non dominant dogs but he is not a fan of cats.
His Foster Mom says "He LOVES any and all attention and playtime but once we sit down, he's pretty chill and just lays on the floor or in his bed next to us. He does very good on our walks - he's curious about squirrels but does really good if we walk by other dogs!"
