Byff is a longhaired brown tabby with white and a story as incredible as his journey. He came all the way from Tunisia, Africa, where he lived as a street cat being cared for by a visiting American couple. After being tragically shot in the spine, leaving him permanently paralyzed, they provided him with immediate vet care and arranged for his journey across the world to Wyoming, where he’s now safe with us.
Byff is fiercely independent and insists on managing his bladder himself. To help prevent urine build-up, he’s on medication to relax his urethra, which allows him to pee on his own. While he does his best to make it to a potty pad, he occasionally leaves a messy trail behind.
Despite his challenges, Byff is a sweet and loving cat who adores head scratches, being outside in a safe space, and the company of other cats. He’s looking for a special home where his independence is respected, and his needs are met with patience and love. Could Byff’s next journey be to your home?
