My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Richie is currently in at CCR, and he is available for foster or adoption. Email applications@chicagocaninerescue.org to set up a meet + greet! **

Meet Richie, the ultimate dinner service enthusiast and the most charming pup around! Named after Richie from The Bear, this lovable dog is as friendly as they come—cat-friendly, dog-friendly, and housebroken! Whether you`re lounging on the couch or preparing a meal, Richie is right there by your side, offering companionship with a dash of charm.

With his love for great company Richie will make sure everyone feels right at home. He`s got a heart as big as his appetite for fun, and he`s looking for a loving family to share it with. If you`re ready to experience the best dinner service ever, adopt Richie today and enjoy a lifetime of joy, friendship, and wagging tails!

More about this shelter

CCRF was founded in 2001 to help find permanent, loving homes for homeless dogs in our city. In just over seven years, CCRF has saved the lives of over 2,000 dogs, cats, kittens and puppies.

CCRF now assists the animals that are the MOST vulnerable in Midwest - the dogs and cats that are slated for euthanasia because they are too old, too young, injured, have disabilities, or have simply been overlooked for too long by potential adopters at other shelters.
