Hi my name is Roscoe or Rosquito. Squito for short. I came to ACR on 8/31/24 with my sisters, Iris and Lavender. Yes, we were all named after flowers, including myself. I was Rose, until my foster mom went on vacation and my pet sitter noticed these two little objects on my back end and thought Roscoe sounded better than Rose. More on the Squito part later.
At first I did not want to like humans at all. That is, until my sisters got adopted. I was very sad and decided that humans may not be so bad. I love to play with all my foster cat friends. We play with balls, toy mice, springs, and cat trees. When I play, I play hard and need someone that can keep up with me.
I love sleeping on window seats in the sun. I am good at using a cat scratching post. I am litter trained, up to date on all my shots and have already been altered. I love treats and soft food in limited quantities. If you want to give me meds or put me in a cat carrier, you will need to be stealthy! I know all and will see you coming.
Squito is SHORT for mosquito. I developed this habit after my sisters left, my foster mom's ears taste divine. I do not eat or bite them. I just LOVE to suckle on them like a mosquito, hence Squito. She tries really hard to break this habit and I am getting better. 😉It is past time for me to find my forever home. I am tired of going to meet and greets. I am not used to dogs or little kids, but with the right introduction, I will do fine. Please consider being my forever family.
Go to www.allcatsrescue.org/cat-adoption-application to apply to adopt, or email allcatsrescue@gmail.com for more information.
Please note: Kittens who remain with a littermate or a similarly-aged companion are healthier, happier and better socialized. If you adopt littermates, not only will they keep each other entertained and happier, we'll also give you a reduced adoption fee! Please inquire if interested in adopting a sibling or foster buddy.
All of our adoptable kitties are current on shots, microchipped, altered (if old enough), and litter box trained.

We are individuals who love cats and all animals but found the need to help the overwhelming and prolific overpopulation of unwanted cats and kittens. We strive to find and match forever homes with the cats we take in by fostering them and getting to know their personalities. We have them fully vetted to have their health evaluated, shots, dewoming and spay/neuter (if old enough) and any other problems that require attention.
