Maggie was found tied to a fence before Hurricane Helene here in Winter Park. I rescued her and thought she would be a good addition to our family. She has a lot of energy and loves playing fetch, so having a yard would be ideal for her. She is potty trained and knows basic commands. She also a great watch/protector dog if you live alone! She is a very sweet girl and gets along well with kids. Recently, however, she has not been getting along with my golden retriever, so she would be much better suited to a home where she is the only dog. Maggie currently attends doggie daycare and does great there, but it would be best for her to be in a home without other dogs or cats. I've been working on her leash training and has gotten better with a harness but still needs some work on pulling!
She has a spay appt with Pet Alliance in January that I am happy to cover the cost.
She is such a sweetheart, and we are very sad to have to rehome her, but we want to ensure her happiness.
