My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Basil is a sweet but shy mixed breed who arrived at EASEL after he was found tied to a fire hydrant, abandoned. He is nervous when first meeting people, but once he warms up he is a total love. He enjoys rolling over for attention, going for walks, and being close to you. Basil is working on his basic commands and his leash skills. Despite his short stature he is about 45lbs and can be strong on leash. Basil would thrive in an adult only home with dog experience. He would love a confident handler who will guide him with structure to help him be the best boy he can be. Basil is improving every day and has even met some dogs who he now plays with! With patience, guidance and routine this boy will be an excellent companion. Basil is estimated to be about two years old and is fully grown.
