Thelma is a good looking girl who would love to be adopted with her sister, Louise. She has learned that she is okay with humans and likes pets, but she still needs someone who will be patient with her.
Thelma's favorite toys are crinkle balls, a laser pointer, and a wand toy. She is very food-motivated and loves canned food and tube treats like Churu. She will sometimes climb in your lab for some scritches and pets, but it needs to be on her terms. She especially loves being at the top of a cat tree or in a spot where she can look outside.
Thelma is available for adoption, but if you live in or around Huntsville, AL, ask about our foster-to-adopt program in the "additional comments" section on the application! We really need adopters to understand that while she does trust humans, she may be slow to accept pets, and will need a very patient and experienced adopter to help her turn a corner. She may come out of her shell more if she is with a more outgoing cat, that has been socialized, which means (and we understand) that this might not be Louise.
