Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Some Cupcakes are frosted with sprinkles. Me? I’m frosted with shyness.
I’ve been at the shelter since I was a tiny kitten, surrendered with my sisters when our family couldn’t care for us. While they’ve learned to be brave and increasingly more outgoing, I’m still the quiet one, the girl who curls herself into the smallest ball possible and watches the world from a distance.
But here’s my secret: I long for love. When a kind hand reaches for me, I flinch at first, but my purr ends up giving me away. I’m not yet confident enough ask for affection, but I dream of the day when I’ll have a forever human to share my heart with —freely and completely.
I’m a little beauty too: my fur is a soft orange-creme, and my eyes glow like autumn sunlight. And though I look delicate, I’m just waiting for my chance to bloom in the right home.
Other cats comfort me, and I’d thrive living with a feline friend to show me the ropes. I’d also do well as your one-and-only, so long as I have your patience and understanding. What I’d love most of all is a calm, quiet home with nurturing adults and older children, where my world feels safe and steady.
Could you be the one to give a timid Cupcake her forever?
