If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Sansa is a 5 year-old white tabby in need of a patient, experienced owner. We adopted her as a kitten in January 2021 and adopted her along with her sister (not a bonded pair).
As Sansa grew older, she became increasingly independent and wary of strangers and our other animals. I've also developed severe allergies to animal fur and have been advised to rehoming. After 5 wonderful years with her, we've come to terms with the fact that she would thrive in a quiet, single-pet household. Once she gets comfortable, Sansa is a cuddlebug and a purr machine! She also enjoys her own company or simply sitting next to you on the couch.
As noted, Sansa needs to be in a single-pet household. She is skittish around loud noises, particularly strangers; voices, and generally tolerates other pets. We are hoping to find someone understanding and mellow who let's her set the pace for interaction.
