My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Blu! This low-maintenance queen is the perfect mix of independent and affectionate. She may be a little shy at first, but once she settles in, her quirky personality shines. Blu enjoys her alone time but will always snuggle up next to you for some quiet companionship. She’s easy-going and loves playing with wand toys, but she isn’t a fan of too much noise or chaos. She would do best in a calm home without a lot of foot traffic. If you’re looking for a chill, lovable cat who respects your space but still wants to be your best friend, Blu is your girl!

More about this rescue

Partners for Pets is a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue located in Troy, IL. Since our opening in 2003, Partners for Pets has rescued and re-homed over 21,000 cats and dogs, who would have otherwise been euthanized in local area animal control facilities. Partners for Pets works diligently to help local area animal control facilities reach no-kill status by opening our doors to the neglected, sick, weak, and injured. No matter their chances of survival, we do everything in our power to give these animals a second chance at life-a life that is full of the love, care, and compassion that they were lacking before.
