Theodore came to us as an stray with puncture wounds all over his body back in December of 2024, but you’d never know it now! He’s fully healed and ready for his forever home.
Theodore is a sweet, easygoing companion with just the right amount of playful energy. He enjoys a little zoomie time, but he’s just as happy lounging by your side and soaking up affection. He’s gentle, eager to please, and takes treats ever so softly from your hand! Theodore also gets along well with other dogs, making him a friendly addition to any household. With a medium energy level and the ability to sit on command, he’s a perfect mix of chill and fun. Could Theodore be your next loyal sidekick?

More about this shelter
We are an open admission, municipal shelter serving the unincorporated area of Fort Bend County, TX.
We are the county's rabies control authority as well as being their animal shelter. On average, we take in approximately 4,000-5,000 pets per year.
The staff at FBCAS is small but each and every one of us is dedicated to making the stay of the pets in our care as comfortable as possible. Our hearts are in this and with every pet that crosses our threshold.
We are part of the amazing Fort Bend County community and we are always striving to work with our community people and partners to make our shelter the best it can be.
We can always use new volunteers to help us keep our pets happy and healthy while they wait for their forever home.
We hope that you will find your new love at our shelter - we always have so many to choose from!
