Agave, adopted in May 2017 from Animal Care Centers of New York while being fostered in home by KittenBnB in Chelsea, NY (shelter name: Celery) is a 7 year old indoor cat that celebrates a birthday in February 2025. We have to rehome Agave at the advice of my daughter's pulmonologist as her lungs are being compromised. Agave enjoys being on your lap getting all the attention and under chin scratches. He can't jump high. But, will chase any fly. He enjoys empty shipping boxes and is our built in TSA agent-no bag goes uninspected. Agave enjoys glasses of ice water, sleeping in boxes, and joining Zoom calls. He will never eat or beg for human food. Agave is on the larger side and requires at home grooming (combing and electric shaver) and 36-40 inches when on hind legs. His favorite pastime is activating the ice dispenser on the refrigerator. He is bonded to his brother Oaxaca and prefer they are rehomed together.
