If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Hoagie is a young, sweet, playful boy. He is currently around 2 years old. We adopted him from our local SPCA in July 2024. He is quite a mix of different breeds but is primarily australian shepherd and Australian cattle dog. He is about 55 lbs. He has adapted well to our family and our other dog. However, we are a busy household with young toddlers, and he would do better where he can be walked more and get more attention. Our kids love him and we wish we could keep him, but we think he would have a happier life where he can have more attention and 1:1 training.
He is crate trained and knows some simple commands. He is up to date on all vaccines and is spayed. He is GREAT with dogs and young kids. We are unsure of cats, as he has never been around them. He loves chew bones, playing with other dogs, and belly rubs. Let me know if interested in making a sweet addition to your family!
