Here's what the humans have to say about me:
1/28/25
Ohhhh Easton.....he is one cool dude! A fun and goofy character is how we best describe him. He is young and wants to learn and once he learns it, he gets excited about what a good boy he is! He is very motivated by food which helps! He has met kids ages 8 and up and does well. He is very gentle when taking treats.
Easton has adapted well to inside life and I think he rather enjoys it! We are usually greeted with "happy feet", tail wags and jumping up on us for a hug. While I do not usually encourage the jumping, we let him get away with it because we are excited that he has opened up to be comfortable with people instead of hiding.
He likes going for long walks, running in the yard and a good nap. He is curious about everything. Sudden movements and loud noises still spook him but he recovers quickly and gets back to what he was doing.
He is hard to capture photos of because when you get to his level - he comes bounding over for kisses and petting.
Easton is ready to meet his forever home....are you it? He is looking for a gentle confident dog to play with and show him the way or can be in a home by himself with someone who will take it slow with him to build his confidence and do other activities.
He is currently being fostered with Falcon....check out her story too!
Easton is one of the Lucky 13 brought in from a hoarding situation. He is a goofy boy and watching his progress daily is amazing. Don't get me wrong - he is super shy and nervous but with lots of patience, he will come out of his shell. Easton gets along with other dogs but will need a confident dog friend to help him. We do not have cats so do not know how he would get along with them.
Easton is learning how to live inside a home. So far he is doing well. He is a little unsure on hardwood floors and going around corners but is learning. Easton has mastered the stairs up and down. He also has learned how to wear a collar and walk on leash. He is pulling less and less each day and is looking to his person for confidence. We are working on recall and as he progresses so does the distance we give him on the leash.
Easton is looking for a person or family who understands the needs of a dog who has had a rough start and can focus on how to give him the space he needs to grow but gently teach him how to be a dog. Not suitable for a condo or apartment setting.
Please reach out for more info and watch for updates as he develops in his foster home.
