Cleo and her siblings were dropped on our doorstep, in a cardboard box, as tiny babies. Her brothers were adopted as kittens, but Cleo and her sister (Celeste) struggled to adjust to the busy environment of our rescue, and became nervous around people. They have now been with us for 9 years, and we would love for someone to give these two a chance. Cleo is a sweetie, but she will need some patience and work to let her guard down and be comfortable. She comes out, when she’s ready, and meows at the staff. She is okay being petted, but needs you to go slow. She is part of a bonded pair with her sister, and they will need a quiet household with no dogs or children. Cleo is a gorgeous girl, very gentle, and so worthy of a home to call her own. She just needs someone who understands that she’s a little shy.
