Charlene is a sweet and gentle lady who enjoys purring as she rubs against your legs for your love and attention. She is a big fan of head scratches and pets during her down time, and a flailing wand toy when it`s play time. If you enjoy tossing her felt mice, catnip toys and soft balls, she’ll be happy to oblige! She’s not too pushy – she’ll come around for attention when she needs it, but will mind her own business otherwise. She`ll be your purrfect respectful roommate. Our adoption center is located at 575 Woodland Avenue in Madison, New Jersey. We are open for adoption on a walk-in basis daily 1:30-6 pm (Thursdays 3-6 pm). If you arrive after 5:30, there is a possibility we may not be able to complete an adoption that day. Please note that we cannot put animals on hold.

It operates animal shelters in Madison, North Branch and Ledgewood, New Jersey and one of the largest professional dog training and behavior centers in the country at its Madison campus. Humane Education and community outreach assistance are among its programs offered to the community.
