Adoption Status: Available for Adoption
In October 2023, Mittens was obtained from the (SFSPCA). Philly Jenkins Rescue‘s founder encountered Mittens while volunteering shortly after he underwent an eye removal procedure. In order to facilitate Mittens’ recovery and ensure he received the necessary medical attention—which would have been financially burdensome for a new owner—the founder adopted him. This decision was made to provide the comprehensive medical care required for Mittens to flourish in a non-shelter environment.
