Buster isn’t just a dog—he’s a star. A former professional dancer (in his mind), Buster has dazzled living rooms across the nation with his signature “ballerina” spin and flair for the dramatic. Curtain call? He’s already posing.
At the “mature” age of 7, Buster has mastered the art of chill. He’s laid-back, couch-approved, and loves a good nap—but don’t let the sleepy eyes fool you. Bust out a squeaky toy or say the word “treat,” and suddenly it’s opening night at the Barkshire Ballet.
He knows tons of tricks, craves attention, and still has a surprising amount of sass and spunk. He needs an active home with a solid schedule (and probably a stage), because while he’s mellow, he’s no slouch. Supervision required—he tends to improvise when no one’s watching.
If you’ve been dreaming of a charming, slightly dramatic, treat-motivated roommate who can twirl on command and snuggle like a pro, Buster’s ready to leap into your life—gracefully, of course.More information? Call Marion Area Humane Society at 740-389-6548 or email at manager@mahspets.org

More about this shelter
Marion Area Humane Society is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization incorporated in 1967 under ORC 1717. We strive to educate, assist and protect the animals of the Marion area. Since 1986 have operated a shelter to provide a humane environment for homeless animals. In 2011 several generous donors and grants made it possible for a shelter renovation and addition of a separate intake section. MAHS operates a open-admissions shelter with a guilt and fee free surrender policy, to encourage owners who can not properly care or maintain proper living conditions for their pets to do the best thing for the pet. MAHS also provides humane investigations and a spay/neuter voucher program for Marion county.
