My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Age:3 yrs

Weight: 65lbs

Location: Bronx. New York

Nicknames:

Good with other dogs?: Yes.
Amega is a compassionate, protective American Bulldog who is like her breed prey driven but with proper exercise shew calms down. We will place with a male K9 companion only.

Good with cats? other: I have two cats that she challenges if they walk by her but has never hurt either of them.

Good with children? OK for kids over 10

Activity Preference: Needs a couple walks a day., Low maintenance overall but needs quality outside time.

IQ: Smart

Amega's favorite things: I'm hoping for a loving person who understands the bulldog breed and is aware of the importance of being the pack leader.

Amega is good at: meeting people, behaving in the house, going for car rides, making me feel safe, catching balls/frisbee, following commands, other: Pulls on the leash when walking.

Ideal home: quiet environment, someone at home most of the day, Lots of exercise opportunities

Training Needs: needs obedience training

Health issues: Was diagnosed with hip dysplasia via x-ray yet she shows no sign of it and runs jumps and plays. I give her supplements, and she hasn't had an episode in months.

Meet Amega

Amega is a very passionate American Bulldog who is very protective of who she loves. She has a dominant personality and comes from a well-known American Bulldog pedigree. She was purchased from Greatlakes Bulldogs in Albany New York. Unfortunately, with her dominant demeanor and my two-year-old grandchild's playful nature. I am not fully comfortable when they interact. Although she is tolerant of him and avoids him at times, I don't want to put her in an environment where her prey nature causes, he to respond and hurt him.  This is a courtesy post.
