My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tux is searching for his forever home!

WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS ABOUT ME: 🐾 Meet Tux – Young, Smart, and Ready to Learn! 🐾

The first thing you'll notice about my foster is:
His striking good looks and boundless energy! Tux is always ready to go, whether for a walk, a game of tug, or just exploring the world around him. He's full of life and curiosity!

My foster's hidden talent is:
Making himself very comfortable on the couch or bed. He's a world-class snuggler when he's calm. And while he’s not fully crate trained yet, he occasionally sneaks in for solo naps.

People who have met my foster have said:
“He’s super handler-oriented and really wants to connect— he just wants to be doing what you're doing all the time.” The trainer who worked with him said he sees a lot of potential and heart in Tux, especially with continued structure and consistency.

My foster thinks other animals are:
Tux struggles to read social cues from other dogs and tends to escalate when corrected. He would do best as an only pet right now, where he can relax and focus on his own growth.

My foster's favorite way to spend their day: Tux loves active play, learning new things, and hanging out close to his people. He enjoys walks where he can observe the world and practice his training—and then he’s ready to curl up for a nap next to you (preferably on the bed).

Things my foster isn't a fan of:
Being left alone for too long or confined for extended periods, he’ll protest at first in his crate but does settle with time. He’s also still learning that hands aren’t chew toys, so he needs supervision and redirection during play. Loud or sudden interactions with new people can make him a little skittish, but he’s showing great improvement in focusing back on his handler.

Bonus: Tux completed a two-week board and train with Good K9 Academy and is trained on an E-collar. His future adopter will receive free follow-up training from the same academy to support a smooth transition!
