The dog she has been exposed to was cat aggressive, so now she retreats whenever she encounters a dog.
While she might take a moment to "read the room" and warm up to new faces, once she knows she’s safe, she is all about the cuddles. Loretta Jean thrives in a peaceful environment where she can reclaim her title as the world’s best lap warmer. Adopters are required to sign an adoption contract. Adult dogs are $50 which includes heartworm testing, worming, rabies vaccination, and parvo vaccination.It also includes a spay/neuter. Puppies under 1 year are $85.
Adult cats and kittens are $50 which includes spay/neuter, rabies vaccination, upper respiratory vaccination, feline leukemia testing, and worming. Specials may apply, please visit www.adoptwcac.org for a complete listing of animals available to adopt.

Our adoption program primarily deals with dogs and cats, but on occasion we do have other furry friends. Our organization consists of animal control officers, employees, and many volunteers working together for the welfare of the animals. We are proud to have maintained a live save rate of over 96% for 5 years.
