My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Loretta Jean is the definition of a "lap cat." After spending her time as a devoted companion to a senior, she found herself back in search of a new person to love when her human passed away. At 7 years old, she is a quiet, polite, and incredibly sweet cat who knows exactly how to make a house feel like a home. She is super sweet, lap cat, who lived with senior adult, and loves kids. The dog she has been exposed to was cat aggressive, so now she retreats whenever she encounters a dog.

While she might take a moment to "read the room" and warm up to new faces, once she knows she’s safe, she is all about the cuddles. Loretta Jean thrives in a peaceful environment where she can reclaim her title as the world’s best lap warmer. She’s a pro at using her litter box (she prefers the privacy of her hooded box!) and is looking for a soft place to land. Stop in to meet this lovely lady soon!
