Jessie is a 2-year-old boxer mix with a heart full of love and a spirit that refuses to dim, even after spending most of her young life waiting for someone to see past her breed and give her a chance.

With her stunning brindle coat and sparkling eyes, Jessie is a hidden gem longing for the world to notice her. She came to us at just 6 months old when she was left tied to our gate early in the morning. She has spent the past year and a half in our care—not because of anything she’s done, but because too many people overlook her simply due to her breed. But Jessie is so much more than a label. She’s a vibrant, playful soul who lights up every room she enters.

Jessie loves adventures, fun-filled playtime, and learning new things. Her eager-to-please attitude makes training a delight, and she’s ready to thrive in a home where she can have the structure and love she craves. At the end of the day, though, Jessie is just as happy curling up for snuggles and belly rubs, showing off her softer, sweeter side.

Jessie dreams of having an energetic, fun-loving brother to share her adventures with as she can be temperamental with other female dogs. Jessie has so much love to give—she just needs someone willing to see her for the incredible dog she is.
