MEET FIJI ! What a tragic story she has so understanble she can be timid. She follows direction well and when she cuddles you..you feel on top of the world! Fiji was abandoned pregnant with her sister..both gave birth under a rent house in which the tenants were not accommodating of them. The sister got hit and killed by a car and fiji was hit at the same time. She drug herself with her 1 working leg under the house to care for both litters of puppies. It wasn't until the puppies started smelling from passing that the tenants decided to post for help. When we got Fiji the 7 combo pups were pretty far gone and 2 survived. Fijinarrived unable to walk due to nerve damage and a broken pelvis. With crate rest..assistance..much love and nurturing...Fiji has blossomed into a vibrant girl ! She is now treated for heartworms spayed and ready to be adopted ! Fiji runs the fields with the horses and swims with the other dogs in her foster. She has a gimp but nothing slows her down.
