Well hello there! Thank you for stopping by. My name is Dodge, and I'm looking for a furever family. Could it be you?

I earned my name by dodging the grim reaper several times over just a few days. First off, I was hit by a car. I wound up in a shelter, and we all know what their plans were for me. But MVPC showed up to save the day. Wheeeew! Then I had to go through a really tough surgery to remove my left rear leg, and some soft tissue that was too badly damaged to save. In true Pit Bull fashion, I shrugged it all off, and I'm still here.

How did I come out of all that? As the sweetest, happiest guy you'll meet. I adore my humans, and my career goal is to be a lap dog. But don't be fooled! I love to run and play as well, especially with my doggie pals, and I get around just fine. You can't keep a good dog down. I also enjoy a good chew toy on a comfy bed, and belly rubs. I am quickly picking up on all my basic training and am very good in my crate. I will do anything for a cookie!

PLEASE NOTE: We are volunteer based and a home visit is required; we have a two-hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Exceptions for our ADULT dogs only, though rare, may be made on a case-by-case basis but we must be able to do a home visit. Thank you for your understanding!
