Manchas loves people and gets extra excited seeing her foster neighbors on walks—especially since they adore her just as much. She’s fantastic with kids of all sizes and has the sweetest, gentle soul. She does request that her space is respected until she knows you.

Car rides are one of her favorite things—even quick trips just to get gas! Tractor Supply is basically her second home; the staff love her, and she loves all the attention she gets there.

Please review our adoptable animals before making an appointment to meet one of our dogs. The shelters do their best to have a posting of photos of dogs in foster and dogs temporarily away from the shelter.

You may visit our shelter at 5473 Overpass Road, Goleta, CA Monday - Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m with adoption hours from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Our shelters are closed for lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Our volunteer adoption counselors or staff will be happy to show you any available dog for your consideration.

We also welcome out of town or out of state adoptions.

A dog adoption from the Santa Barbara Animal Shelter is $110 and includes a spay/neuter certificate, current vaccinations, rabies, health records, transition food, loaner items, goody bag, and a coupon for 4 free dog behavior training sessions which is funded by donations to K-9 PALS for the promotion of life-long homes for dogs. Dog license fees for your city or county are additional.
