Meet Splish Splash, the coolest red-eared slider around! This resilient turtle is bouncing back from a fishhook mishap and is now ready for a fresh start. As an invasive species in California, Splish Splash needs a family who can ensure she lives out her days in comfort without the chance to (slowly) make a break for it. While Splish Splash could settle into a massive indoor aquarium (100+ gallons), her ideal habitat is an outdoor pond where she can swim, bask, and explore. The pond should be established and bioactive, or equipped with a high-tech filter to keep things clean. With a lifespan of over 20 years, Splish Splash thrives on a diet of turtle pellets, supplemented with an omnivorous, species-specific menu. And don't forget to install that tiny turtle fence!
