My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Majo – Your Independent, Quirky Companion
 Laid-back & Lovable

Majo is a sweet and curious beauty who’s gracefully adjusted to big life changes. Surrendered by her previous family when they moved, she was initially unsure and timid—but it didn’t take long for her true personality to shine through. Now, she’s blossomed into a confident, friendly, and independent kitty with a heart full of quiet affection.

Majo currently lives with two dogs (one large, one small) and handles it like a pro—completely unbothered and unfazed. She prefers to do her own thing but enjoys being near her humans. When it’s mealtime, she’ll guide you to her bowl with a soft meow or a gentle nudge—just in case you’ve forgotten! While she came to us a bit overweight, Majo is now thriving on a structured feeding routine with an automatic feeder and is feeling her best.

She’s not big on treats, but she loves her cat bed, basking in sunbeams, and batting around her favorite catnip toys. Though not overly cuddly, Majo will gladly rub against your legs and sit nearby, her soothing purrs adding comfort to your day. She’s perfectly litter trained and has a calm, easygoing vibe that makes her a joy to be around.

Once an outdoor cat, Majo has made it clear she’s done with the street life—she’s all about cozy indoor living now, especially if that includes a warm sunspot and a window view. Whether she’s lounging contentedly or gently supervising your daily tasks, Majo’s sweet, slightly bossy charm is hard to resist.

Majo would thrive in a home that respects her independent spirit while appreciating her affectionate, loyal side. If you're looking for a mellow, loving companion who marches to the beat of her own drum, Majo might just be your perfect match.

We provide all initial wellness care, including vaccines, deworming, checking for mites etc., for each kitten and cat under our care. All cats and kittens available for adotpion have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, and given a rabies vaccine. Our adoption fees also cover lifetime microchip resgistration. To apply to adopt, please visit our website www.fcocinc.org and click "Adopt" under the cat you're interested in.
