DOG'S DESCRIPTION:  Meet Dart, a sweet, young fella overflowing with enthusiasm and love. His friendly disposition makes him a joy to be around. Dart is incredibly sweet, often showing his affection with a wagging tail and playful nudge. He is loyal, too, always sticking by your side and offering comfort when you need it most. Dart is great with other dogs and always eager to play and make new friends! He even knows a few commands like "sit" and "down." Dart's handsome, boxer looks are just a bonus. His real charm lies in his loving nature and friendly and playful demeanor - despite all he has been through. Dart unfortunately tested heartworm positive. Luckily, K-9 Lifesavers provided him with the lifesaving care he needed and he is now Heartworm free! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
