Tinsel might be the last of her litter to find a home, but we’re convinced she’s been saving the best for last! This smart and spirited little girl is bursting with love for people and an endless zest for life. Whether she's trotting happily on a walk, chasing her favorite toy, or splashing in the water, Tinsel’s enthusiasm is contagious. After a day of fun, she’s the first to climb into your lap for a cuddle on the couch.

At just 20 pounds, Tinsel is a perfect-sized companion for adventure and affection. She’s looking for a young person, active couple, or family who can keep up with her playful energy and give her the active lifestyle she craves. If you’re ready for a lifetime of loyalty, laughter, and wet-nosed kisses, Tinsel is waiting to meet you!

This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.

If you are approved to adopt, payments can be made by cash, check, or through PayPal or Venmo. Please note the payment as an adoption fee

Additional adoption info

Adoption application is required. Applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. A picture of your home or yard may be requested

All dogs and puppies are fully vetted prior to adoption (spay/neuter, rabies, 3 DHPP, bordetella, heartworm test/treat if positive) and are micro-chipped.

Our fees start at $200, transport out of Texas is arranged by us and is generally an additional $200.
We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet. Our contract requires if an adoption does not work out the dog is to be returned to us. We need at least two weeks notice.

We work to correct poor behaviors, teach manners and observe each dog. We pride ourselves in providing a complete and honest evaluation of each dog to ensure the best possible placement for both the dog and the adopter.

A Doggie 4 You is an all volunteer organization and consists of two programs:
1) A Doggie 4 You rescues dogs from kill facilities and unsafe environments, fully vet the dogs, then adopt them to loving families

2)The Hill Country Daisy Fund helps hill country rescues in by providing monetary support for adoptable animals in shelters who have a treatable injury or illness or low income individuals who need assistance with food or veterinary care in order to keep their pet.

We are located in the Texas Hill Country. We can arrange for safe transport to this area. Our dogs are in TEXAS and can be transported to you if you adopt from us.
