Sweet, sweet Tapatio has been let down more times than we can count — but he still greetsus every day with a tail wag and hope in his heart.
This baby angel first came to us in December. Since then, he’s been returned, overlooked, and passed by… and through it all, he’s remained the gentlest, happiest boy.
Tappy Toes (as we lovingly call him) is:
-About 3½ years old, just under 50 pounds
-Sweet, playful, and obsessed with fetch
-Medium energy – calm, cuddly, and up for fun
-Dog friendly with chill pups
-Crate trained, potty trained, and walks well on leash
-Quiet, affectionate, and easygoing
Tapatio would make an incredible family dog. He lives for being part of the group — bringing you his toy, curling up next to you, just being your best buddy.

CARE STL welcomes adopters to either come by the shelter or fill out an adoption application online to save some time at the shelter. The purpose of this application is to gather information about your home, pets, and general lifestyle to help our Match-Makers determine if the pet you wish to adopt is a good fit for both you and the pet.
