Pru is a special little gal, in more ways than one.
A little over a year old, she is a happy, playful, friendly girl with energy and love in spades. She is crate trained, but is still working on potty training due to some unique circumstances.
You may notice that Pru doesn’t use her back legs. A spinal injury that occurred prior to her coming into our rescue has caused this, and over time the use of her back legs will continue to decrease.
Don’t let this fool you or stop you, because it sure doesn’t stop Pru! She will run to her heart’s content, with or without her recently acquired wheels. She is great with dogs of all sizes, seems to do well with cats and is fantastic with children. Pru rides well in the car and is doing well on the leash. She definitely LOVES to soak up any and all attention and love she can.
As previously stated, Pru is crate trained but not potty trained. She does have accidents in the house and we are working to see if this can be controlled by implementing a strict potty schedule.
Pru can be a little scared of new things but otherwise loves to cuddle and wants to be near you. She even has a signature 'Happy Dance' she would love to show off to you!
We do not know what happened in Pru's past life, but we will make sure that her future continues to be bright. Due to her medical condition and ongoing medical needs, we will waive the adoption fee to an approved adopter. An ideal home for Pru would have minimal to no steps, but is not a requirement.
