Born in June 2024, Buffy is a mixed breed bundle of joy bursting with playful energy and puppy charm. This sweet girl is great with other dogs and has passed her initial cat testing, showing lots of curiosity without any aggression. While she might be a bit too enthusiastic for small kiddos, she’d thrive in a home with older children or adults who understand puppy energy.

Buffy is eager to explore the world and would love a family who can match her playful spirit and help guide her as she grows. She’s smart, social, and so ready to find her forever home where she can be loved and adored.

We require all adopters to complete an application and pay an adoption fee. Adoption fees vary, but are usually $160 to $185. We may do a vet reference check and/or home visit.

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
