Sage is a 6-month-old Russian blue cross who came to Abbey Cats from a shelter north of the city after having been found abandoned at a house in the country.
Sage is currently being fostered in a one bedroom Toronto apartment
She is relatively shy and wary of new people and will spend the first few days in hiding until she’s acclimated to her new home.
But within a week or two, her personality blossoms into the curious and affectionate cat that she is.
Sage adores being brushed and having her chin scratched; both activities will get her purring.
She loves her sister Saffron and will not miss a chance to cuddle with her on a cushion or cat tree.
When energetic, you’ll often find her play wrestling with Saffron.
When calm, she’ll groom her from head to toe.
Sage, like her sister, is also ok with new and unfamiliar faces once she’s gotten used to her environment.
Sage requires a quiet and relatively spacious home.
She must be adopted with her sister Saffron as they've developed a close bond.
Please bear in mind that it is against Abbey Cat policy to adopt a single kitten under the age of six months to a home without a kitten of similar age for company.
