We are needing to rehome Sugar Plum aka Shug. She is a very sweet cat and has been a joy for our family since she was 6 weeks old, for the past 4 years. Unfortunately, we have a member of our family with allergies and we have tried all we could to remedy without success. She gets along well with dogs, but really has no interest in them. She has never been around other cats, so I’m unsure how she would do, as I think she would tolerate, but again, not show interest. She does tend to pick a person to be her person and I would anticipate her needing some time to adjust and develop a new bond. She is very loving and affectionate and almost dog-like in some ways. She has Ragdoll characteristics in personality and appearance, but I do not believe she is a purebred. Please let me know what questions you have and I will be happy to answer.
