Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Trevor is an pure bred puppy mill dog. He is extremely shy and has suffered trauma. He is very hand shy and has an involuntary flinch reflex to noise, movement, touch, etc. He does very well with three other spaniels of varying energy levels, even playing tug with another CKCS. He is very leery of new things, but has taken quickly to playing with toys. He has also a very good laundry helper sock thief. He is exploring his new world, and will attempt to play with things he shouldn't. Like the TV remote, socks, water bottles, etc, but will stop when gently told. He loves his pack walks and is quickly building his strength and endurance, but still rides in a wagon when he gets tired. He loves to greet other dogs and even some people, enjoying the attention from neighbors dogs. He is not a typical Cavalier, but he is learning. For example, when he wants to be picked up he will come and sit down by my feet. That's my sign, he does not jump or bark. He is leaning to be held, but it's still a bit new for him and he will move away after he's had his fill.
