Are you looking for a new member of your family who would be good in an apartment, condo or townhouse? Sandy Rosie may be ideal because she does her business best on a walk. A single family home would be fine, it's just not required. She loves everyone including other dogs but most of all people. This sweet 9-year-old poodle mix weighs in at less than 14 lbs. She loves to cuddle and when picked up will hug you and put her head on your shoulder. While she is missing the toes on her front left leg, it does not slow her down. She loves her walks.
Her vet adores her which is good because she has a few issues that are now under a medical maintenance plan. She requires cyclosporin for her eyes but it's only one drop in each twice a day. She gets enalapril twice a day in meals to regulate her blood pressure as it is causing protein in her urine. She is on Tylan powder twice a day to reduce the discoloration on her paws and hind end due to licking. It seems to help her allergies as does being on a vegetarian diet. She needs to have her ears cleaned and medicated once a week. A bath every week or two helps her skin and allergies. All of this is very easy as she is such a good patient. The cost when calculated on a monthly basis is less than $100 or so.
She is fully vetted, spayed and up to date on heartworm preventative. She would do great with a single person, couple or family especially if someone works from home or is retired. She is such a happy dog. Are you the one to provide her with a loving

More about this rescue
CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership. If needed, our rescue dogs are retrained to socialize in an adoptive loving family. We have had phenomenal success, and amazing support from our community. We believe that animals, as living creatures are entitled to a quality life, respect and compassion. Since humans have domesticated animals, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to care for them. We are partnered with many Shelters to help them reach the same goal.
