My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Flo is our sweet red-nose pit who truly believes she’s a 50-pound lap dog. Her favorite place in the world? Curled up right next to you on the couch, snuggled in for a nap. She’s a ball-chasing, plush-toy-loving bundle of joy with just the right mix of zoomies and cuddles. Flo’s got great leash manners, knows her basic commands, and is always ready to work for a treat (she’s very food motivated!). With her big heart and boundless energy, Flo will fill your home—and your lap—with love.

More about this rescue

We rescue and rehabilitate dogs who are at risk in overcrowded shelters, including many who have been victims of cruelty and dogfighting, and then place them in permanent homes. We also advocate for pit bulls through educational and outreach programs and work to build a community that supports the bond between dogs and people.
