My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PARTIALLY SPONSORED ADOPTION FEE FOR APPROVED ADOPTERS (read till the end)

It’s not dog hair—it’s Great Dane glitter! 🖤

Meet Raven. She is a 1.5 year old Great Dane weighing in at 90 lbs.

Raven is clumsy, playful, affectionate and loyal! She may be a little shy at first but once given the seal of approval, she is stuck like glue! In fact, her favorite place is on her humans lap. ALL 90 POUNDS! Raven prefers lady friends but will warm up to men with little time. Due to Raven’s size, a family with older children would be best for this large lady. Raven requires another large dog in the home for confidence and to show her the ropes and a few play sessions here and there. 😉

Raven is crate trained, leash trained, house broken and dog door trained. She is non-destructive and loves a good (non-destructive) chew bone. With size at her advantage, this girl had been known to surf a few counters. She will need a home who will take precaution of what is left in her reach for her safety. Raven has been working on basic commands and knows how to sit, especially if you have a treat in your hand. 😉 She is very playful with others dogs but does not know her size when playing with dogs smaller than her. Small dogs in the home are okay, but a large playmate is needed. No cats or farm animals please. A privacy fence is required in Raven‘s new home for safety as she has been known to take a few leaps over chain link!

Ravens life slogan is “if I fits, I sits.” So who has a lap big enough for this girl?!

Someone with Great Dane experience or the willingness to learn would be best as they have breed specific needs. Raven did have a gastropexy to prevent her stomach from twisting in the event of bloat. Due to this her adoption fee is $250. Adoption fee partially sponsored! NOW $100

All of our animals are fully vetted which includes spay/neuter, up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested and treated if necessary, up to date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention and microchipped) prior to adoption.
