Lauren is a sweet and spunky Red Heeler pup with a heart full of love and a serious case of the zoomies! At home, she’s playful and full of energy—she loves her nightly zoom sessions and never turns down a cuddle. While she’s still shy outside of her foster home, she’s made huge strides in confidence and is learning that the world isn’t so scary.
This smart girl is doing great with potty training—she knows to head straight outside to do her business and keeps her kennel clean overnight. She’s also learning her routine and is happy to go in her crate during the day and at bedtime. Bonus: she’s incredibly quiet and rarely ever barks.
Lauren is a social butterfly with other animals—she LOVES playing with the resident dog in her foster home and is learning to respect boundaries like a champ. She’s also been excellent with the household cat. While she hasn’t met children yet, her foster believes she’d enjoy the company of active kiddos who’d love to run and play.
She’s attentive, listens well, and redirects easily—though she may occasionally mistake a throw blanket for a rope toy, she quickly switches gears when offered her own toy (who can blame her?). When she’s not napping, she’s by your side—Lauren is a classic velcro dog who just wants to be near her person, whether it’s for a cuddle or a stroll around the block.
